Primary Job Functions

• Design & Review course design continually for improvement and apply where appropriate including but not limited to prerecorded training videos.
• Creates and facilitates user education classes for all software applications both at in-house and on-site locations
• Works with programmers and technical writer to ensure course materials reflect current product releases and coincides with course content
• Maintains and publishes the training calendar
• Maintains accurate records relative to the confirmation of each scheduled class and publishes the training calendar
• Coordinates all internal employee training and facilitates new hire training
• Publishes a training report following each class
• Participates in the training manual and software documentation design review process
• Performs quality testing of all software applications

Additional Job Functions

• Creates, maintains and publishes monthly training performance statistics
• Ensures the corporate training facility is properly maintained
• Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

General Requirements

• BA/BS in Communications, Business or equivalent required.
• Three to five years experience in facilitating user training in a software and technical environment required.
• Must exhibit the ability to interpret scopes of work to the system configuration and effectively communicate conceptual complex issues to customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven ability in designing and creating course outlines and content for new software packages, as well as to revise and improve existing courses required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communications skills and the ability to function effectively in a team environment required.
• Candidate must possess ability to remain poised under pressure with a high degree of diplomacy.
• The successful candidate will possess knowledge of complex database packages and experience in working in a technical environment.
• Telecom industry experience a plus.
• 25% - 35% travel required.
