TELESOFT CORP. Expands Management Team
PHOENIX, AZ. (March 31, 2000) Telesoft Corp. announced today that Eric Kaufman has recently joined its management team as Chief Operating Officer of the Telemanagement and Student Telephone Services divisions, reporting to Michael Zerbib, President and CEO.
Michael Zerbib commented: "This addition enhances our ability to accelerate growth, and will enable other key executives to focus on the company's strategic direction. Eric is a terrific addition to our management team. In this newly created position, Eric has responsibility for two divisions, which generate in excess of 70% of our revenue. Eric brings 18 years of operating experience at leading service companies. He is already making a positive contribution to the organization. "
Commenting on current R&D efforts, Mr. Zerbib added "Under Eric's direction, the R&D group is working more closely with our sales and implementation groups to develop and prioritize our next generation of product launches. We expect to be launching an Invoice Processing module and a Internet Protocol billing module in the second and third quarters, respectively."
Prior to joining Telesoft Corp., Mr. Kaufman was Chief Information Officer of Synergy Solutions where he successfully established and implemented a technology strategy and vision for this Internet Call Center start up. From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Kaufman was employed by ProMark One/IDRC (TeleSpectrum WorldWide), where he served as Vice President of Information Systems. During his tenure, Mr. Kaufman was responsible for improving turnaround time for client deliverables as well as for implementing new processes. From 1982 to 1996, Mr. Kaufman was employed at American Express where his various management positions included Director Data Center Operations, and Director Electronic Commerce. Mr. Kaufman has a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida and a MBA degree from the University of South Florida.
