Customer Service Record (CSR) Tariff Analysis
During Tariff and Contract Analysis, Telesoft Corp. reviews and validates all Customer Service Record expense categories to the Universal Service Order Code Level (USOC). Service types reviewed include: line charges, circuit components, mileage rates and distances, PIC codes, taxes, surcharges and FCC line charges.

Local Invoice Tariff Analysis
Local invoices are reviewed to validate: regional calling plans, service order changes and credits, intra-state toll charges, 800 services, installation charges and improperly PIC'd long distance charges.

Long Distance Tariff Analysis
Long Distance Invoices are reviewed and validated for: toll call rates, long line components, discount percentages, commitment level thresholds, access fees, bridging / multiplexing arrangements, as well as, signaling charges.

Inventory Analysis
Past usage details and traffic studies are reviewed against inventory composite created from CSR Contract and Invoice Inventory, Work Orders and Network diagrams are validated against physical inventory. To ensure all billing locations are occupied originating and terminating locations are validated. Questionable lines are individually dialed to validate ownership. Site surveys are performed where appropriate.

Surcharge and Tax Validation
Your corporate office is on the east coast where your bills are paid. You have branch offices on the west coast where taxes and surcharges are less than east coast municipalities.

Since your bills are sent to corporate, the vendor bases the taxes on the higher tax location and makes the mistake of charging you more for surcharges and taxes than you should be paying.

Telesoft Corp. recovery audit identifies mismatched tax and surcharge rates and provides you with refunds for those vendor errors.

Duplicate Charge Detection
You have a large circuit you are currently paying channel termination charges on. A seperate remote site carries traffic over that same circuit. The vendor ends up doubling the charges to you for the first circuit and the second.

Slamming Identification
A bill shows up from a third party vendor stating they are an "authorized billing service of your carrier". It even has your carriers colors and logo on it.

The third party vendor bill ends up being higher than your carrier contract rate and since the invoice looks similar goes undetected. Your local long distance has been switched without your permission. It is called "Slamming".

"Slamming" is the illegal practice of changing a consumer's telephone service -local, intralata service, or interlata service (including state to state, in state and international long distance) without permission.
